Davey Oil

Davey Oil is a teacher, activist, bike shop owner, queer nerd, and father of two. He is committed to welcoming new players into tabletop role-playing. He works to build inclusive and anti-oppressive spaces for marginalized folks to gather and play games. As a GM, Davey Oil works in a style he calls “Rule of Cool School;” the “Rule of Cool” reminds us to focus not on the rules and stats of the game, but on the fun we make together, exploring, adventuring and developing interesting characters — and the “School” reminds us that we are all on a learning journey, newbies and old pros alike!

Gary Thomson

Gary is a fantasy/sci-fi writer based in Seattle, WA. He has played games his entire life, enjoying gathering with friends and family to laugh, challenge each other, and grow closer. Gary started DM’ing D&D 5e when his son caught the D&D bug and needed a DM. It stuck and kept growing until, two years later, Gary was running several after school programs a week and half-day camps over the summer. Gary enjoys crafting rich worlds, surprising challenges, and epic adversaries. He is well-versed in systems like D&D 5e and Epyllion and is always looking into new games and game mechanics that he and his players might enjoy. Gary believes rules are meant to be followed, but not at the expense of story, heroics, or fun.

Rebecca Demarest

Rebecca A. Demarest is a journeyman Dungeon Master specializing in Dungeons and Dragons 5e. She runs a table focused on epic storytelling rather than strict interpretation of the rules; you tell her what you want to accomplish and she will find a way for you to roll for it. Her nerdoms include, but are not limited to, Star Trek/Wars/Gate, Portal, Zelda, Tortall/Winding Circle, Dresden Files, World Mythology and Lore, Fairy Tales, and Oz (the Wizard, and all 14 others).
